How I quit my job, moved to the tropics, and now help others work less & live more.
I didn't always have financial freedom: a life I love, free time, travel, and assets that have returned multi 6-figures of passive income and a 7-figure net worth...
In fact, not long ago you could have found me working a job I didn't love, quietly battling overwhelm and working out how to get my next raise or step up the corporate ladder.
One day in late July, I left that job (which is where The Goodbye July Podcast gets its name!) and now have the privilege of teaching others how to create more freedom in their own lives.
Today, you can find me soaking up sunshine on the beaches of El Salvador with my husband, our three pups, and an iced coffee.
Cocktails, Crashes & One Very Pricey Clean Up
My journey to financial freedom wasn't without its fair share of challenges (or, how I like to view them: lessons).
-
In college I blew all my financial aid on drinking (and probably not on fancy cocktails, if we're being honest) and, as a result, had to work 3 jobs to cover my expenses for some time.
-
During my first corporate job, a car crash left me with less than $100 in my bank account after the repair.
-
On the third day in our first home I accidentally bought - and could not return - a $2K vacuum cleaner (that my husband will eventually bury with me).
The first few years were rocky.
I didn't decide one day that I was going to be financially independent and then magically land on a giant pile of money.
With every small win came larger hit on what was actually important in my life.
Experiences missed so I could save money.
Leaving a city and people I loved for the highest-paying job.
Money poured into a 401K without feeling more freedom.
Working too much.
Tolls on my health.
And generally putting myself into unideal and sometimes unsafe situations to save a few bucks...
So I decided to make a change - once and for all.
I realized I was working harder, but not necessarily smarter.
I realized:
-
I was planning for a financially free future, while de-prioritizing a financially-free now
-
There is a healthy balance between saving, spending, and investing - and I wasn't striking it
-
Without an Emergency Fund to fall back on, I didn't have the freedom to invest in high-risk, high-reward assets
Most importantly - I realized I could die at any moment, so I should prioritize my happiness now, live where and with whom I want, and quit skipping out on things I truly wanted to experience.
And after all this dawned on me...
I DISCOVERED HOW TO MAKE BETTER MONEY IN LESS TIME SO I'D NEVER HAVE TO TRADE ANOTHER MOMENT OF MY LIFE DOING WORK I DIDN'T LOVE FOR A SINGLE CENT EVER AGAIN.
And the cherry on top?
I get to help strong, capable people like you do the exact same thing.
How?
With specific, detailed action steps.
People in my life will tell you: I love the details.
Not just general guidance...
But actually rolling up my sleeves and digging into the deep, rich details that give you the confidence to not only make more money, but to build up an array of income-generating assets that require less of your time and effort (you can literally make money while you sleep).
I can help you get to the proverbial promised land of escaping the time-for-money trap known as the "rat race".
And I am able to do this because I teach exactly what I personally practice - detail for detail.
I teach what I myself have done to generate multiple 6-figure profits and a 6-figure net worth (7-figures after marriage) that doesn't rely on 90-hour work weeks or a boatload of money to begin.

A Little About Me
Nearly doubled my salary by using simple math and a repeatable process to negotiate 2 pay raises (86% total increase)
Used the extra money to invest in passive income-generating assets and ultimately quit trading time for money when it meant doing work I didn't feel passionate about
Built a lifestyle and investment spread that led to my "retirement" from tech marketing
Shamelessly obsessed with traveling, coffee, my handsome husband, and our 3 dogs
